Tasting notes : « The 2019 Clos 126 is a rich, heady Pomerol that shows off the more outgoing side of Pomerol with great success. Creamy and full-bodied, the 2019 offers inky black fruit, chocolate notes, new leather, spice and blackberry jam. The style is decidedly flamboyant, and yet all the elements are so balanced. A rich, imposing finish rounds things off nicely. » 91-93/100 Vinous
« Opaque purple in color, the 2019 Clos 126 prances with seductive aromas of Black Forest, black raspberries and Morello cherries with notes of wilted roses, Darjeeling tea, bergamot and pencil shavings plus a whiff of cloves. Medium-bodied, the palate has typical Pomerol backbone with robust, round tannins, and just enough freshness to support the muscular dark fruit. » 90-92+/100 Robert Parker
« An outstanding work, the 2019 Clos 126 offers a deep ruby/purple color as well as complex notes of spiced cherries, clay, tobacco and undergrowth. It has a nice texture, medium bodied, has great tannins and great length. It will evolve for 10-15 years. » 90-92/100 JEB DUNNUCK
« Deep crimson color with violet reflections and a black heart. Well-structured nose, fully ripe blackberries and blackcurrant leaf notes. Discrete spices in the background. Well structured on the palate with rather velvety tannins, ripe fruit and discreet spices, round and quite rich on the finish. »91/100 Markus Del Monego
